My poor sailfin mollies

One of them has cotton mouth, and the other has fin rot. Both bad. They were my favorite fish too, the male sailfin and glowing orange eyes and striped green tail that shimmered in the sun. I don't know what to do now, I thought about putting them out of the pain. But what IS the best way to do it? Thanks

Melafix is the only thing I had and it doesn't work. The female just died.
