Last night my male molly was fine.

This morning, before I left for school, I noticed him swimming in a rather unusual, and it seemed as if he could not control his movements.

When I came back at 4:45 he was dead.

I had only had him for seven days.

Was this swimmbladder? Could the other fish have it? What can I do to prevent this from occuring in the future? Is there some kind of medication I need to give to the other fish?

Right if it was swimbladder, it wouldnt normally kill a fish, and you can tell the early stages of it by the fish swimming slightly off balance, and to correct it, i use Revitilising tonic which is a blend of liquid salts and a few other chemicals that helps fish, but otherwise fish dont normally die of that...

Did the fish have any visable signs of illness, or being attack or anything like that?

Try the blue stuff (Sorry cant spell it) it generally cures most illnesses...
