My Plec (id Wanted Please)

after reading a few more topics on plecs, im not sure what type of plec i was sold

i thought it was a common plec, but can anyone ID it for me please

My first guess would be a common also. Having said that im still trying to get a pos ID on one of my plecs....

ill have a go, but it doesnt actually have its fins up unless it is moving, so its a bit harder to get a photo

i did record it on the move though, so ill upload that and see if you can help

i thought that the very first time i saw him in my tank

he has a very strange back end to him, almost like it looks like it is broken, but he swims happy enough and is very active

That's a common pleco 100% sure

But from the photo's it look's like it got a deformened spine though.

what exactly does that mean in the long run?

thats how he looks all the time, its never perfectly straight(his spine)

Its defo a deformed Common. If he swims OK and seems happy then it shouldn't rally matter, much like a human with deformities learns to get around them. He may die earlier than he should though but until then enjoy.
