My Platy Jumped Out Of The Tank!

my mickey mouse platy jumped out of the tank but when i finally saw it laying on the floor it was too late.. but before it jumped out, i saw it shaking ..anyone ever experience this before??

Need more info i'm afraid.
Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.
Was the fish swimming in place but getting no where.

its a 10gallon tank,heated n 5 fishes.. um the water is clean... the fish was swimming but it didnt get anywhere it was also hiding all day today..then later today i saw it shaking its head left n right rapidly..but my other fish look great n they eat when i give them food.

I would invest in a liquid master kit as hard to say whats going off without stats.
For now take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.
I would do a water change with the fish jumping out of the tank.

Seems like there might have been something wrong with your water parameters.

what do u mean??? and my small angel fish just died today too..i had some fake plants n the tank but i took them out because they were stinking n my tank got cloudy but i cleaned the tank n i gave my fishes a salt bath..now i only have 2 platys n 2 koi sword tails...but has anybody ever had this happen to them?i never heard of a platy being jumpers...

Do you have a test kit for your fish tank? This will help many of us on here including yourself eventually, evaluate and tell you how to help your fish out in the future and even now.

How long has the tank been set up.
A cloudy tank can mean quite a few things, bacterial bloom, over feedings, lack of maiintance etc.
You say you cleaned the tank can you say how.
It pointing towards bad water quality, need them test results so we can help.
