My Platy Is Pregnant

I have 2 mickey mouse platys and one orange and black one (not sure of the name). One of the mickey mouse ones is definitely pregnant, i have read about the gravid spot etc. and it is really fat, i have a marina breeding trap, but should i put her in it?


How do i know when she will give birth, or when shouold i put her in the trap?

Any help very much appreciated.

Im sorry but i no longer have a camera handy, i have a crappy camera phone but its would be pointless taking a pic with it as you would not be able to make much out of the pic. Plus she like to hide behind the plants so there is virtually no chance of me getting a clear shot

Signs of about to give birth:
• Acting Antisocial
• Squared off (Like above)
• Has a birthing tube
• Static movement
• Fry eyes are visible through gravid spot

She definitely looks pretty squared off. Although she is acting quite active as she normally would, the larger orange and black one likes to stil chase her, but at times she wonders off and hides away to take a breather it seems. And im not sure if i can make out any fry eyes. So im guessing she isnt quite ready yet?
