My Platy Had Babies

Hi my platy had babies yesterday and i just want to check what i should be doing now they are in a bredding box thing until i can find something else for them and i have now brought some liquid food should i be doing anything else i have added some pictures she only had 6 and one seems to have died not sure why although i only got the liquid food today so maybe thats why

My children were so excited so i don't really want to lose anymore

Keeping the water/breeding trap clean is a very important part. Make sure to do a 25% water change weekly and siphon the left over food from the trap every couple of days. You can use a air line hose to siphon the waste from the trap, its like 10 cents per foot at the LFS around here. After about a week or so, you can try feeding some frozen Daphina. I find this is a much cleaner method on feeding then verus flakes or liquid fry food.
