I did my water change today because my tank has whitespot and when i filled it back up i noticed there was a baby swimming around the plants.I've obviously sucked out a few of the fry as i did my water change!
Anyway i went out and bought a breeding trap like the one shown >>HERE<< and some Liquifry. I've got around 7-8 fry in there and was wondering what else i need to do to keep them healthy and of course alive!
I'm hoping that the fry can't escape from the small slots that are under the trap and i've also heard that i shouldn't keep them on liquid food as it will pollute the tank. So should i be going out to get some brine shrimp right away?
Another thing is that i've heard they can basically 'cook' if you're not careful of the light so do i need to turn the light off at points through the day so they don't overheat in there? I've also cut a small peice of my plant from my aquarium and put that in there and they all seem to be hiding in it.
One last thing i need to ask is are the fry in the trap getting the air they need in the water because being as it's plastic there's no bubbles getting into the water. There are only a few slots in the base of the trap fro water to come in and out (hopefully not the fry too!)
