I have the fish in the specs below. Stipe passed away, 2 days after giving bith, although I never found any fry
she acted like she had fish stress, panting, lying at the bottom, and not eating 
I am worried it isn't uncommon for them to die after birth (I can't take that, they give birth once a month!) So maybe platies aren't for me. Another factor is my male platy is really aggressive to both females, so maybe he caused her to die? I had a male die a while back because of bullying (or at least I couldn't find any other causes) Also, at the same time stipe seemed stressed, spot starting actimg the same way, although not as extreme..the other fish are all fine, including the male platy....tell me what you think! thanks

I mean, he mostly just fin nips, and chases them around the tank, but they rarely got a rest =( Sometimes I swear he hunts them (my tank is planted) 
! I figured it was because of the agressive male, because all of the other fish were fine. Do you think that is what happend? I hope to be getting some more females, I really want to have babies
