It has been half a year and out of my nine platies, none has had fry...

I have 5 males and 4 females. (I know I am out of ratio but 2 of my males are really small because I got them form friends).

My water is good and temperature is 77F

What is wrong??

they might have babies and they eat them, but is rear that all get eaten all the time if you provide plants to hide or the breeding net when she is pregnant.

Not sure what else it can be, they like to breed as much as they can!

I keep LOTS of floating plants in with all my livebearers. Lots of frequent water changes, regardless of how clean the current water looks, and several small feedings, giving the fish lots of variety in their diet, but always using frozen brine shrimp for at least one of those feedings. By lots of floating plants, I mean plants such as hornwort, something bushy that doesn't have to root. I also keep java moss in most of my tanks. Hope this helps.
