my platies are so weird and one is stupid.

i have 3 of them and they all are female. they all try to breed with each other. its so weird having lesbian fish.

also one of my platies tries to breed with my pictus catfish. the cat doesnt like it and attacks the platy ripping scales off it and such. stupid platy is all beat up but still keps comming back for more. can we say abused housewife syndrome?

are all platies as dumb as mine?

lol no jus urs u should just get a male and all that will probably stop, if u dont want the babys the just let em get eaten.

i could let the babies get eaten but if my mum ever found out i did that she would kill me.

i am quite sure all of them are female, none have a gonopodium.
ill take youre advise and get a male platy from the pet store today. i have to do somthing, this one female who keeps trying to mate with the pictus cat is really getting beat up.

ok i got a male platy and he is acclimated to the tank and swimming around fine. the females are going crazy over him chasing him around and trying to mate but he is still new and i guess scared of the new suroundings because he wont mate with them yet.

man i wish i was as lucky as this fish.

yeah the go kinda sideways and wiggle against him. he is a common wag platy.

this motning i waoke to see one of my platies STILL chasing after the catfish mating with the cat and she is so beat up now, theres hemmorages on the side of her body. shes missing a fin, and yet still keept grinding on the catfish.
the cat doesnt want anything to do with it though.

the other 2 females are not lesbo anymore. i think the male set them straight somtime last night

tell me about it thats how i got my female balloon mollie to behave herself
poor male all he was doing was being chased by both my females and they fought over him they were hitting each others tails and sucking on each other(it was funy because they dont have teeth)
