Why should I tell you?
My female platies (2) are acting weird, when I come near the tank they hide! i turned the filter flow lower and the tank light off. They share a cycled 21 gallon tank with 1 male platy, I got them yesterday and fed them today. The red female is quite big (I think she is preggers, no gravid spot though, the male doesnt come near her though) the PH is 8 ill check ammonia nitrate etc. when they are sleeping.
P.S: The red female also follows her reflection up and down the tank sometimes is that normal?

I think they are just stressed seen as they are new to the tank i would give them time to settle in abit........just keep an eye on them but i would check your water just incase tho.

I love platies i have 2 coral red platies (1 male and 1 female) and i have 1 female sunset platy which is heavily pregnant.... YAY

Yes check your water quality in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, just to make sure.

lol, i think you are misinterpreting normal fish behavior as suspicious ones here. I don't see anything unusual in what you describe, nor would high ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels affect and cause those behaviors.

P.T.

But the Red female is constantly following her reflection up and down the side of the tank.
Ammonia:0 Nitrite:0 Nitrate: Hardly any at all
Well, I guess im getting worried for no reason. :)

Fish chasing backwards and forwards at the glass, almost like they are trying to get out, can be a sign of stress, especially if they are new to the tank. Just keep an eye on them and I'm sure they'll settle down in a bit. :)

I no fish are stressed when they swim up and down the glass, but my guppys do it now and again so I wouldn't worry to much.

Yeah, my guppys and plattys do it all the time. Since I'm kinda new to fishkeeping this struck me as odd at first too, but in time I've learnt that this is pretty much part of their beahvoiur ;)
