My Planted Tank

Hey everyone,

Just got a question with regards to my new planted tank, my tank is 240 litre and i am using a fluval 305 filter.

Should you use cabon filters in a planted tank, it came with 3x cabon filters which fit in the baskets.

if your going to be dosing nutrients for the plants then thats a NO to the carbon, just put it to one side and keep it for if you have to dose meds and want to remove them, replace the carbon with biological or mechanical filtration.
