HOLY CRAP thats big, i see im gonna need to resize my pics before I post them.
Anyways, lotsa plants, flourite substrate, mopani wood, filtered by a fluvol 204 with surface skimmer, Co2 used as well.
Hope u like!

Fantastic looking tank (BIG PIC  ). I like the layout, all blends in nicely. Wots in the breeding trap.
Nice work.

:hyper: WOW looks lovely, another stupid one from me when u say co2 do you get this in the pet store? :*)

Oh and i am using fertilizer but i got 128 litres it states to use 5ml per 10 litres is this not excessive seems like 1/2 the bottle?

Thanks for the nice comments.
I put a female guppy in the trap, she was in my 20 gallon planted tank but for reasons to long to explain I put her in this one just temporarily.
As for Co2, I go the poor mans route and use hagens Co2 "natrual plant system" and yes, you can get this and other ones similar in pet stores.
About liquid ferts, I used solid and liquid.
I have plant sticks in several root systems on various plants and I add the recomended amounts (actually, about 1/2 to 2/3 of the recomended dosage) of seachems "Floursih comprehensive supplement", Plant gro iron enriched, Florapride, and the occasional dose of blackwater extract, which is peatmoss and other ferts in a liquid form.
I also use flourite substrate, a clay based substrate for the planted tank.
Peat moss fiber in my filter, and the mopani wood also helps with water quality and plant growth.

Looks great. Lush growth gradually conceals the driftwood as it meanders towards the backround, nice fore to mid to backround transition there. It's very green and it should look even better once that red plant grows out a bit more. BTW what kind of filter are you using that you have the peat moss in, and another question how many watts are there over the tank? Awesome tank, superjalami30k.

gorgeous tank :) everybodies looks more organised than mine *jealous*

What lighting do you have? And do you suffer from algae?

Sam

Thanks guys and gals.
I'm using a fluvol 204 and I put the peat in nylon bags to keep it from getting all over the place.
As for lighting, I'm using 3 24" 20 watt fluorescent T8 bulbs.
I get a bit of algea on the glass, very little though.
Its that dam hair algea thats been a "slight" problem as of late.
I used some of the very helpful advice I've received from this forum to bring that under control though.
Always learning something new!
I cant wait for that "red" plant to start to grow again.
I had it in another tank with good lighting but it just wouldnt grow.
When I added the extra 2 bulbs to this tank I decided to move it here in the hopes that it would do better with the added light.
Well see, I hope so.
I just added a nice big tiger lotus to this one just after I posted this pic.
Did some rearranging and will be posting another pic soon.

:)

Every day after work I'm in there with my snips, either trimming or scaping.
I enjoy it. :)
Thanks again for all the nice comments!

Great tank , looks real healthy. What have got in the way of fish?

3 bloodfin tetras, 3 red eye tetras, 6 harlequin rasboras, 4 small bala's, 1 rainbow shark, a big 'ol dojo, 2 clown pleco's, 2 albino cory's, 2 pepper cory's and a really big cory, cant remember the name of it though.
I know the bala's need more room, the LFS here allows me to return them when they get to big and exchange for anything I want around the same price.
Oh ya, I've got 3 small other fish that have a blue ring around their eyes and their bodies are a blueish silver, cant remember the name though.

Very nice tank, it looks very natural, i love the lushness of the planting, enough without being overgrown.
