Now without wanting to sound stupid, how do you get that little bubble wall. You know all the bubbles rising upwards. I gather that you have to use an air pump and some tubing, but how do you do it so that it looks nice like yours? I have always really fancied doing that but never known how

It's an airstone attached to the tubing coming from the pump yes.

It's a reptile cave made by terra exo. Can be bought from any good reptile pet store.
