I recently got two peacock eels from Petsmart They were in seemingly good condition i had asked a sales person what they fed them and they aid flake food with blood worms once a week. I figured i could accommodate 2 in my new 55 gallon tank. When i first introduced they swam straight to the bottom and buried under the gravel ( i got river gravel that doesnt seem like it would abrade them). Its been 1 week now and they rarely come out to swim around and I've never seen them eat. I tried granules shrimp pellets, Flake and brine shrimp but still nothing im afraid they'll starve if they dont eat soon. Please help me solve this problem before i have to use Petsmart's 2 week return policy

What are your water parameters? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and ph?

Are the flashing at all? Any tiny white spots?

First thing I would do is a water change.

There are no white white spots nor any other visible issues I've done a Water change (about 12 gallons) and i forgot that i had added some Bacteria in a bottle

Before we can help or suggest anything we need your water parameter reading. Without that we really cannot suggest anything that will help, not even meds. So it’s really important we have them.
