My Oto

My Oto is just swimming around and not settling down on anything...he's been doing this all day.

Is something wrong or do they like the occasional long swim??

Oto's prefer to be in groups of at least 3 as they are very sociable little fish so some more oto's would be good, although they are quite active fish yours should settle down a bit more over the comng weeks as it gets used to its new home .

id say its normal, just check your stats in case. Most newly acclimated oto's do this (at least mine did)

Thanks for your replies guys.

He has settled down now and is happily sucking on a new plant [new to him, not to the tank!] I think it was just he's found out that the end he's stayed at since i put him in is now spotless [good work! ] and was just wondering what to do!

Tokis - I did have 3....if you notice my sig, 2 of them have died I don't think my tank was ready for them, as its only been set up 6/7 weeks. So learning from my mistakes, I won't be getting any more for a while.
