My Ornament Has Turned My Sand Grey

i just did a partial water change,due to ammonia being a bit high from over feeding on my part (i know that bcus i left food in the tank, as i was being lazy )
and i moved my easter island man statue, and all this grey sand came out from it so i swished it in with the other sand to try and hide it (not that it worked very well)
and now im a bit worried that this could be something bad
the sand has gone the same colour as the ornament, has it just been tainted, or should i start panicking now!!!

it has probably gone aneirobic. Stir the sand so it all goes out (the air bubbles) do this every week to help get rid of it.

Yer its just the crap building up underneathe it, jsut a coincidence the colour of your ornament is the colour of what sand goes when crap builds up inside it
