My Only Guppy Fry Died! Why?

I moved my only guppy fry to an 8 gallon heated tank(he looked so tiny in there!he was only 1/4 in long!)from a smallish container. I made sure to acclamate it for longer than usual since his container was not heated. when I woke up today he was dead!and I thought he was doing so well!why did he die???

What are the water stats for the new tank? Did you feed him and make sure there was enough food available? Since he was so small the tiniest change to his parameters could have been fatal.

Maybe the tank was too big for him to find his food? How often did you feed him, I fed mine between 3-5 times a day.  Or, could be he was just weak to start with.

Is the new tank cycled with a filter?
