I've gotten my co-worker into them now too. She just bid on some at Aquabid..and she BOUGHT ME ONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!! lol it's a purple crowntail..he is fantastic!!

I can't wait to get my tank made...they're gonna love it .

Fish are so much fun....I can have them at theoffcie ..they make me smile ...and everyone stops by to look at them and compliment and try to play with them them..makes me feel wonderful.

Whoever said something without fur couldn't melt hearts....obviously had never met a betta!!

Well fiddle!

Someone outbid my co-worker by about 2 minutes...it went form $28 to $60 in 2 minutes on the Purple CT. I'm guessing they wanted him for breeding. *big sigh*

So she bought me a Black Green CT instead...he's really pretty also..I think I will like him just as good. Just take me a little while to get over not getting what I wanted lol.

Yes..I think I do too. I think he is equally as beautiful as the purple...in his own way. he is rather unique. I've not seen many this color.

I have named him Toy (pronounced tohye-he) Which is Thai for Wicked, becasue I think he is pretty wicked looking lol. (not Necessarily as in *mean* wicked..but the *omg that is cool* wicked. lol.

My co-worker doesn't know it yet....

But there were 2 fishes she really liked...she bought one (she used my accoutns to buy both fish) and then mine. Well I bought the other one she liked for her xmas present lol. I got her a Red Butterly HM...he is georgeous.

The one she got herself is a Purple HM, he's quite the handsome fellow too.

Whats' funny about Sot (the green one) is....I couldn't really see this in those pictures...but he is actually a butterfly.

It looks slightly yellow-tinged to me from the pictures (the ones I posted above)..but I received him and Det yesterday and once they got colored up..turns out the yellow is actually white.

Det though, omg...those pictures do him no justice what so ever. He is a really deep dark purple with that bright yellow...he is wonderful.

Once they settle in real good I will snap some photos..I tried yesterday but the flash scared Sot..so I decided I would wait a little bit before trying again.

A very nice surprise imo!!
