At the moment I have about 15 guppy fry (2 weeks old) and a lyretail swordy fry (4 days old) in a breeder box in the 30gal. The poor little lyretail was found between the tank and the trap but I rescued it so all is good :D This morning when I was watching the fish the little lyretail was chasing the guppies into the corners of the trap.....then sailing round keeping them all in check. That was till I fed them and the commotion stopped. Then when I got home tonight the little fry was doing the same thing. Its kind of cute in a way.....this tiny little swordy fry chasing guppies twice its size.

It seems the little fry has adopted the personality of its mother....BOSSY!! Its a shame I don't know who the father is though the most likely candidate is my yellow swordy (with black sword) male. Though the mother was with a white platy and a red wag platy at the time -_-

maybe he's been watching the cichlids :p
