I just finished getting my second Betta... Her name is Seven of Nine which is a name I got from Star Trek.. My first one died about a month ago so I decided to get a new one and I ended up getting a female betta and she looks like she's in excellent health which is a good thing ofcourse.. here's a picture of Seven:

My LPS doesn't really have female Betta's much... it usually just has a bunch of males and that's it... but today I was lucky to be able to find a female.

That's not her real picture... its just a picture I found on the net that looks like mine lol... I don't have a camera or webcam.

Seven is really healthy that's for sure... she's always swimming around and her colours are perfect and her fins are in perfect condition... my first Betta wasn't in such good condition... and he never ate which is why he ended up dying in about 3 weeks... but this time around Seven eats the Hikari pellets I feed her... I'm going to give her freeze dried blood worms once a week since she's so good
