My New World Inhabitants (blue Acara's And Fm)

Pics of my 2 Acara's and 1 of my FM's... Pics aren't great but they won't stay still...

The first two are the same Blue Acara. The second two are my other Blue Acara. You can see one of my FM's on the last one.

Can anyone confirm my thought that the 1st two pics are a male Acara and the 2nd two pics are potentially a female?

Also tips for taking pics? I can't get a decent shot...them lot took me ages.





Forgot to mention they are normally a lot more colourful than this - I think the flash freaked them out.

turn the flash off, set it to macro mode for close ups, i usually just wait in the one spot with the camera and get them as they swim past.
as for the gender its a bit hard to tell because they are still young
