my new tank

i got it from pets at home and at the time (year ago) it cost me £10. its a bamboo plastic thing and was a bit thicker than it is now. its about 2 foot long.

From where I'm sitting, it looks very realistic indeed :)

nice setup BA
how about bunos aries tetras to mix with the angels.
they get fairly large for a tetra and look fantastic in a group of 8 (or more)
for the bottom, I'd go with one or two types of cory.
why not stick to fish from south america to keep it different than other "comunity" tanks. on that note consider adding peat to the juwel filter, remove one course sponge and replace with peat in a bag, the angels will appreciate it.

bloozoo > it does look real, but i dont like it much. Its been useful for all different set ups. Recently i used it for my male betta to hide in.

wolf >I like the idea of the peat in the filter. As for fish i dont know any more. My table broke on the other tank so i had to put everything into the 50. It looks nice, but not what i visioned it to look like. Hubby now wants neons or cardinals but i cant put them in with the angels.
So now with the four angels i have
4 black phantoms
4 black widows,
4 white/silver tip tetras
3 kribs
2 congo tetras
plec
few other fish.
When the other tank (34) is ready again i will move the fin nippers back into it, this will be the black widows and the african tetras and kribs. heres a pic of them (i think they are a type of congo, the name started with a d, duyen i think)

so, i can get his neons and put them in the 34 and get some corys and more black phantoms and white tip tetras for the angels. I think

thanks for the input everyone. :)
this is how it looks now

oh ands i love black phantom tetras i had some once theyre really coold but sometimes get shy :D well done

Thanks for the comments OTP and GSL. So many fish to choose from and not enough space, :S
Getting more bogwood soon as well and ive ordered some plants from java-plants, mainly vallis types, and a floaty thing :)

Looking realy good.
Just one thing , you said you liked the idea of peat in your filter, is that for effect or to lower the ph (i thought the water up there was soft)

The kh is 3 and the ph is 7.4, so not that soft.

I've seen one of those plastic plants around here recently. Very useful for gouramies :p

The placement of the decor is lovely. I don't think you should change it. It looks perfect as it is.

How big are those angels? They look amazing in your tank and I'm not even a big angel fan!

Thanks Sylvia.
The biggest angel is only about 3 inches maybe a little over and the smallest just over two inches. I did have the two large koi angels but they both died of bacterial kidney disease.

just an update. got the plants for £12 from java-plants. really nice too.
this is it today, but still got bogwood to add so will probably change again.

I like the new plants. Very good for angels, they like lots of vertical vegetation they can glide in and among. Very nice.

Reminds me that mine look like crap and I need to get to work on them...
