My New Tank :)

Just bought this and i would like you all to give me some ideas what i should do, Im probably just going to fill it with guppies and mollies and some neons.

Give me a few design ideas if you was doing it? What plants? Gravel or sand? any ornaments

Please give links to things if you wish.

nice looking tank. is the light unit built in the hook on this tank? if so how many watts is it? This will give you a good guide line for what plants you can keep (if you want to do a planted tank) If it were me, I would get some nice stones a big bag of substrate and see what I can come up with, If not stones personal I like to use Redmoor Root Wood it looks amazing when planted.

Thank you for replying, Yes there is a light built inside the hood and im not to sure on the watts as she never actually wrote it in the ebay listing but for £85 i dont think i can complain! Im picking it up tonight so i can reply then

Is sand easy to clean and look after??

`I set off with sand and it looks great, but it does take a few days to clear, no matter how much you wash it, so don't get any fish until you have cycled your tank..........loveyour tank, it looks great and a great price....

I had a tank before but something happend and killed all the fish and then i just left it for a while but now im wanting to get one setup again Ive only ever had gravel so i think i might go for sand.

There is a section on here about cycling your tank, my local fish shop gave me some filter medium (good bacteria)to start me off, and a few fish to keep the medium fed, all seems to be much easier than a fishless cycle to me, anyway you would need to read up on it on here, before you get your fish, lots of good advice on this forum, so good luck
