Hi ,
I've been reading this forum and thought that I would put in about my new tank to see if it sounds compatible.
Only small (28l) . Might get bigger soon as I'm enjoying fishkeeping already

1 leapord danio (had a zebra as well but died of dropsy I think. Puffed out scales etc)
1 black widow tetra
1 bleeding heart tetra
1 black phantom tetra
2 dainty dwarf corydoras

Gravel base and under filter with spray bar (water flow at top is strong and not sure if this is ok for fish)
1 wisteria
1 redish plant (not sure)
1 twisty green grass like plant
Fish seem happy Nitrates and nitrite have gone down to negligable levels now
ph 6.8 to 7
some algea growth not major .
Started to find some small brown shinty snails but i'm pinching them out as soon as

Yeh . True. I think I will get another larger tank to set up schools and in this tank maybe use for just one school.
That's the only thing with a small tank, you can't be too ambtious.
Thanks for your comment

The way I see it, the only fish on your list that would be happy with such limited space would be the dwarf corys. All the others would appreciate more space to move around- danios are fast zippy fish, bleeding hearts grow quite big, black phantoms and black widows are quite active. And they are all schooling fish. If you are at all able to get a bigger tank, you could set up a nice school of 6 corys, and maybe some sparkling gouramis or ember tetras in the little tank, and then have proper schools of the other fish in the bigger tanks.
