Hi all, i firstly want to thank everyone in this forums comments, it has been very helpful in setting up my tanks, i previously had a 30litre biorb but have now upgraded to a Juwel vision 180.

after reading all the stickies, and help on setting up a new aquarium this is work in progress:

At the moment i have

x2 large zebra danios

x2 small zebra danios

x2 red guppys

x 3 clown loaches

can anyone recommend any good bottom feeders that will get on well with my clown loaches i would be very grateful!

ive noticed my plants keep getting eaten too any advice on how to stop them eating my precious plants?!

Nice tank only thing is that tank is way to small for clown loaches, they grow to about 12" (30cm).

oh dear, do you think theyd be okay in there for now...LFS didnt say anything about that the tank was too small i really dont want to see them go love em to bits

Not really they need to go back ASAP, i can tell you from experience. If you leave them in for much longer their growth will become stunted and they will have a very premature death.

NIce tank. Yeah i agree u must remocve the loaches but the as it is. It looks gr8 Get something elso with your platies.

Swap them for Zebra loaches which are just as much characters but don't grow so large- they also munch up snails. Nice tank.

I am afraid that you also have a lot of non aquatic plants in there as well, which will slowly rot and die. It`s not your fault, as LFS persist in selling them.

Dave.

True. Plants with varigated leaves are sold quite often as aquatic plants but they can't live underwater.

Best advice is to research fish on the net, some lfs don't always tell you the truth. Lovely tank.
