My New Set Up With Sand

i changed all my tank round sunday, i took the gravel out and replaced it with sand, i also took my internal filter out and replaced it with a eheim classic filter which is much better. let me know what you think. also i have still got to get a backround, im not sure what one to get blue or black? what do you think?

i hope you Put the filter back in or used an alread matured filter or you`l have a cycle on your hands... but yea that blue gravel dosent look nice at all

I have sand in my 450 litre tank and am thinking of replacing it with gravel. Sand looks good to start with but I have found it hard to get rid of fish waste.

Be CAREFUL !!! Sand can scratch glass when you use your magnetic algae remover. It has happen to me.

I prefer a mixture of sand and gravel myself. Although too much gravel and the sand just disappears... it is a fine balancing act

i have just took sand out my aquarium as it made it look muggy i decided to get a mixture of aqua gravel and blue and mix it ,, it looks so much cleaner ..
