Yay! I got some new fishies today! And I FINALLY got another eel...it's been way too long since I've had one in my tanks. ;)

The eel is a Peacock Eel, and for now, he will be living with my betta, Kakashi, in the 10 gallon. We've named him Balthazar. ;) He's only about 5 inches long and so far he and Kakashi have been getting along wonderfully! :D They actually swim together around the tank...so cute.

I also got a school of six Harlequin Rasboras and I must say I'm glad I got these little guys. They are not only gorgeous little fish, but they are so active, and they school so tightly together, they are a joy to watch. I'm definitely loving these little guys.

So, here are the pics...enjoy them, and let me know what you all think! :p ;) :D

Here are two pics of the Harlequins.

:) They're so cute! They look like very active little fish. I've always wanted a small group of Harlequin Rasboras! :fish:

Sasha - The rasboras are WONDERFUL! I always wanted them but never got any, and now that I have them, they have quickly become one of my very favorite schooling fish.

digital_run - I love eels too. Hope you like Balthazar! ;)

dwarfs - I believe they can get up to a foot, maybe more. A 55 gallon would be good. Mine will eventually be going in a 55, once I get it set up. :D

ya he look sawesome...always thought of adding 1...didnt know if it would work in my 65 gal. what do you think???

looks just like this one they had at my petsmart yesterday... (my petsmart is very good just to let you know, they feed there fish life so just... oh nvm  )

forgot one thing, are rasboras hardy? i hear they need really good water?

It depends on what else is in there. I mean, mine is living with a betta, and so far they are getting along fine. I used to have a Spiny Eel and he lived in a community tank with everything from catfish to livebearers to danios, and I never had a problem with him either. I think a 65 would be fine. I've actually found that the eels are more shy than you'd think they are, so who knows...they may be the ones getting harassed in the tank.
