whats wrong with t8 lights i have never had any problems with them in the past surely it depends on the bulbs themselves?

Nothings wrong with T8 lights, it's just T5s are generally better.

Very nice. I have similar moonlighting on my Discus tank though I only tend to use it for a short time around dawn/dusk.

i want to look into changing it to fit 4 t5s but will need some research
