Hi
congratulations!!!
Will keep fingers crossed you should get some long fins.
My male albino long fin bred with a very large albino short fin and its looks like i have 40% long fin.

congrats, haha the guy you got them from showed me the pics today. you've got some good quality fish there.

think i've got about 10 of duncan's bristlenoses

I was cleaning my 30 long earlier and found a male BN sitting on a clutch inside a barnacle cluster. He's barely over half grown, so I presume it's their first spawn. The parents aren't longfins, but may be carrying the gene. If the eggs/fry survive I'll see sooner or later.

some info from

helterskelter

will only have longfin fry if the female is carrying the gene if not they will carry the gene so when they breed shd have longfins

i have a longfin female 3ins i think coming on tuesday from 5teady

plus will have 3 more longfins female's next mth from paul on ac when he has them in next so will have longfins coming out of my ears soon then

lol

Hiya

Cheers for the info from helterskelter so my albino short fin female must have the gene.
I also have brought a brown long fin female from 5teady cant wait to see her.

Its always the same i have had 2 male long fins and i was after some females which seemed ages. Now i have breeding trio of golden long fins and a brown long fin female from 5teady soon too.

Keep us update with your babies

u so lucky to have breeding trio of golden long fins

i like the longfins alot more then the normal ones
ill soon have longfins females so go with the longfin male i have

i also got a young female longfin here from my breeding group i had last year so when she's older enough she will be put with the longfin male aswell

i am always after new bloodlines to add to my lonfins or my normal commons ones

cnat wait to have longfin babies

I just thought you could get brown, albino/golden, calicos, and L144s in the long fins (which i would love to have).

Keep fingers crossed my long fin calico is in cave for his first spawn hopefully.

ill keep my fingers cross for you as well

some of the eggs have been kicked out of the cave abt 12 or so i am just downloading them on to photobucket ill upload the photo in a bit u can see them coming out of there eggs little white things on top of the egg looks funny
