thanks mags they will look even better when they settle , they were amazing in the shop. when i took that pic i had literally just released them . , ...... compensation for the discus situation is my excuse

they look good quality! The colours are great saying you only got em today! nice one.

look real good mate i would guess that they are a pair female on the left

thanks . i tried to get a male and female going by the fins but time will tell . all in all tho i am very pleased with them and even if it turns out i have 2 males theres more than enough room in my tank for them to have their own territories :good:

they can be kept in groups if u wanted ot get more =)

Shockingly gorgeous!

I so wish I had the right water for rams.

beautiful colours i bet they look great with the cardinals :good: :good:

Very pretty :)

I had some Gold Rams once and they didn't stay for long as I think my water was too hard for them. My pH is about 7.5, though I think most if not all of East Anglia is a hard water area? My Bolivians are OK though, so they can't be as sensitive.

if you get the rams and acclimatise them slowly then ther is no reason why they shouldnt work. just adjust them to your water paramaters slowly and keep the ammonia and nitrites at zero and there is no reason why you cant have them. the important thing with rams is to keep your water paramaters stable

Really gorgous rams :good: They are not gold they are blonde

My water is really, really hard here. I don't want to risk it. Even the bettas are having problems.
