I set up my tank, a Rio 125, 2 weeks ago on Friday 3rd November. On the 7th my lfs said I would be OK to put in my first fish 2 platies, a bristle nose pleco and 2 golden apple snails. I also put in some of that bacteria solution. The following day i went to another lfs and he advised that I needed more fish in my tanks or the bacteria solution would die. So I bought 6 more platies.
That was a week ago - does anyone have any advice on what I should do next.
Any advice would be great - when to change water, change filter things, add more fish, what type would be best, easy to keep etc.
