Just wanted to post new breeding tank and get a little bit of creative opinons

Here goes, A jewel 50, it a 2ft by 1ft by 1ft tank and has an internal filter, the tanl is split with a tank divider 1/3 of its width. the small side has planted java fern for the fry to hide. and it has currently a pregnant guppy and a baby sailfin molly. the larger part has a piece of bogwood, ( some plants will follow ) this contains one male guppy, lyetail leopard colouration. also 3 female guppys and a one inch albino bn plec.

It looks okay. Did you cycle your tank( not trying to shoot you down), becasue it looks kinda foggy.

over 100 guppies at one point all due to 2 females  all though my female now tend to have large fry so theres not as many

yes, tanks been active for a few months just done a little disturbing as had to move plants, bogwood and put the divider in, cheers for your concern kribensis12

Actually have a couple of 10" tanks available with undergravel filters for the fry if the tank gets overcrowded lilfishie, bought them when had a 60 fry explosion. but at the moment i don't want the fry as unknown father and i'd like to breed from one of my males. lfs going to take some when there old enough and partner has 16 of my fry so far. we'll see how it goes....

hi haleystropicalfish got the divider at my lfs, it cost about eight pound but is well worth it, you cut it to size and it is perverated so you don't need a separate heater and pump. but holes arn't too large so the fry don't get out.
