I doubt I would get one, though, because I don't really have much room left for any more tanks (unless I start selling my furniture - heh!) BUT... if I did, that's what I'd go for

Goodness.... Even I don't watch Spongebob, and I'm 14! Whats the story behind these two, or have I missed it?

sponge bob is awesome I own the movie (ya know bettamomma, yer gonna need to get a squirrel to finish off your sponge bob deal, and a star fish hehe)

OohF - Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are 2 super heroes from the show Spongebob Squarepants. They're hilariously funny - they're totaly goofoffs. They are super old and have retired from aquatic super hero-ism, but occasionally the residents of Bikini Bottom (the neighborhood where spongebob resides) needs to call upon them for some mission. They also have an invisible car.

They're ultra hilarious.

I love SpongeBob! I get Bill Spongebob boxers for a joke present...they're useful, but hilarious.
I'd love to get some lil' figurines for my tanks if I found any.

As for the Squirrel thing....my mum and bio. dad, I'm sure mainly my mum tho, took care of baby squirrels. I'm not sure if my grandpa or dad killed the mother *rustic country bumpkin hunters* but I think either mum or dad found the babies. Mum took care of them for while until they were old enough to go back into the woods *bio. dad lives near a woods...just across the creek from him* She said she had this coat they liked to huddle up in. If she tried to move it they'd hiss at her. Also liked to crawl in her hair too...she had and still does, very curly hair...so it was like a lil' nest.

Well I did some examining of the boys today, and it looks like Mermaid Man (the black and red vt) is in really great health, except for some fin issues, but that should come with clean water and good diet.
Barnacle Boy (the pineapple/red/blue ct) is not quite as healthy. I think he's got some gill issues - he keeps sucking water in and blowing it out his gills. And he also has a brown spot up on top of his head - kinda off to the side.

I now just have to decide if I want to take one of them out to medicate or what. I might have to go get another tank (to act as a hospital tank for a while and then...)

OH... and MM already made a bubblenest and I can't stop him from making rounds through his arch and plant.

He somehow managed to rip his dorsal fin during the night - guess it's one of those "getting used to being up close and personal" with another fish things.

He LOOOOOVES his cave. I gave it a shot thinking it'd be way too big in there but he loves it and I'm sure he'd be really torked off if I took it out now.

This little guy has some major fin regrowth to get working on. He's a crowntail but you'd really never know it except his bottom fin has some spindly rays on it. I think once he gets on a great diet and swims in some clean water and colloidal for a few days, he'll be in business.

They're lookin' good MM is a bubble nest maniac as it is, he even had one in his cup while he was here! I just put my boys in their tank yesterday, gonna have pics pretty quick glad they're doing well

They're really good boys.
I think BB has some gill problems but we'll get that taken care of pronto.

They ate the second they got home - I set their cups on the nightstand by their new tank and they were there for about 5 hours acclimating. They got a pellet each time I came in and added new water. They got wormies last night too. It was kinda funny - BB had no idea what to do with them.. he was afraid of them at first.
