I went into my lfs yesterday and after wandering around, spotted this little darling
Hes a mustard gas halfmoon plakat according to the shop
not sure if hm is right or pk...could he be young and grow a tail?

Very nice! Ours looks exactly the same shape as yours...and we were told he is a Half moon dragon plakat.

Definately a plakat, would have started to grown a long tail at that size (i have heard stories of tiny males though being sold as females) and it does seem to have the dragon skales and the musterd gas colors but im not 100% sure its a halfmoon looks like it though, Yud have to get him to flare and see if his tail makes a full half moon (180), hes its a very lovely fish though!

thanks guys, i think he may be a superdelta, as even when fully flared, he doesn't get a full 180. I don't think hes a dragon though, he hasnt the tell tale head marking like my Blaze had, although I do love dragon types, they are my fav, but Terry is so pretty, and he has a lovely manner, comes over to say hello already.
but i think he is a plakat and a mustard gas, so they got 2 out of 3 right x haha

yes, like a brownish purple body, yellowy cream fins with lilac tail rays, and lilac sheen on body, with chocolateish lining on the outer fins. he looks like a chocolate orange in some lights, which is why I named him Terry lol

I might be mistaken but i thought dragons had a more define scaled look, with almost a dark lining around their skales giving them the look of having armor?

yes that right for the dragon Sanka101. Do you think he's a dragon? in normal light conditions his scales are not that well defined

and, on the tail front, he is definately a HM. Saw him flare for the first time this morning, and oh my pretty boy, not sure he likes the gold ram, but i havn't seen any aggression yet, so shall keep an eye on the situation.
I managed to get a photo but hes not fully flared in this one, when i manage to get a better photo i shall post it

OOOOOO I'm envious. He is going to be one sharp looking SD. (possibly PK.... what's his size?)

And no, that is not a dragon. great find tho! He is awesome.
