These three arrived this morning, and are now happily swimming around their temporary home.
The images are taken in my photo tank:

Max size is about 93mm (3.7") SL, the largest of my trio is currently 65mm (2.5") SL.
They require cool, but extremely fast running water and am planning to set up a 5' biotype with these and Barilius or larger Danio/Devario. Apparently, Oreichthys are also suitable, but most of these fish are not easy to obtain so it may need a few trips out to the larger aquarium stores to try and source these fish.
The tank will be mainly a mixture of pebbles, from small to large, with a large Eheim for filtration and one or maybe two Koralia powerheads to help create the flow.

Very nice! Sounds like an interesting tank :) I bet nobody of the goat will love this tank, sounds right up his street with the Barilius :D

Lovely looking new arrivals, that heavily forked tail is a giveaway to their life in the fast lane!

Thanks chaps. :D:good:

Wills - still waiting to hear how your Auchenipterus are getting on?

Auchenipterus? You mean my Agenisous? Doing great :) still just got my two males but got a good lead on a chance of some more coming into the UK so need to get on top of that when the chance comes along :)

How are these getting on?

Yes, of course I meant Ageneiosus! ;)

I look forward to more pics!

Really well, really active feeders and all coloured up beautifully. They seemed to leave each other alone mostly, but are very active whenever food is added. I'm hoping to make a start setting up their new home tomorrow... :D

Ah cool :) Tell you what actually I will share my tip on the Agenisous - Rare Aquatis in Crewe are now importing from Glasers in Germany!! An amazing importer stunning stock lists and tons and tons of rare everything. Check it out on the rare aquatics website :)

The Agenisous are very hard to photograph as they hang out in an upper corner all the time which is either flooded with sunlight or really dark at night - the glass is also hard to clean as they dont move and I hate getting stung by them it give you tingly sensations down your arm for a good few hours.....
