I've been using Flourish.



Is that a liquid fertilizer? And how often do you apply it?



Yes, I add it to the tank twice a week.




Mmm, should be trying to higher my dosage then! I am using Sera fertilizer 1x a week (as the prescription details), but my plants don't grow that nicely!

Do you mean Flourish Excel? If so, then no, upping the dose on a Sera fertilizer is pointless and will probably encourage algae growth... Flourish Excel contains organic Carbon (CO2 - liquid) and the Sera Fertilizer you are using probably only contains Micro Nutrients... If the Plants aren't growing (and your still adding fertilizer) then you are just giving the algae extra food! Biulu, do not add extra sera fertilizer...

i have a fertilizer too. i have two, ones called elos planta 1 and elos planta 2. it says for planta 1 to put in weekly and for planta 2 to do 20% water change weekly then add. does anyone have this, if so could i do it twice a week?

Read the instructions on the bottle if it says you can add twice a week then you can do so. I wouldn't recommend going over the required dose.
