dude you've seem to have posted a few post now and you seem impatient relax there is no rush. things like this take months mate

i kno im just so worried ive spent all my money pn this tank and made a really big mistake forgot to get co2 now im oaying the price in 1 week i already got alot of algae everywhere and i also got green water :S
my mum isnt letting me spend another penny on a nutrafin co2 kit and she wont let me make my own diy co2 she said i cant be trusted
kno one on here is willing to giv me a nutrafin cannister and diffuser:(
i dnt kno wat to do i may just shut down this tank and go back to my usual plastic plants and rock set up ???

I think everyone on here will have had algae issues at one point or another. You can get through it, have search for Sophos9, he seems to grow more algae than plants :)

What is your current setup?

Lighting level (watts, tube type)
How long are lights on for?
Substrate?
What plants and how many? What percentage of the substrate is covered?
Are you adding any fertiliser and if so what, how often, and how much?
Is the tank getting any direct sunlight?

CO2 is not the answer to getting rid of algae, if done badly it can increase algae, so don't be worried that you don't have CO2 at the moment.

im adding interpet flora boost once a week - 5ml
the tank is near the sunlught all day

Okily dokily:

* light lvls are 4.3wpg

Still not sure how 'high' this actually is for the size of tank you have, not too up on light levels on smaller tanks, though it does seem excessive given you can't use CO2.

* lights are on for 10 hours a day, though see my comment on the sunlight.

Drop this down to 6-7 hours initially. Only increase this when algae has not increased/grown since the last increase, I would say aim to increase it by 15-30 minutes every week or two. Don't rush it though!

* loads of plantcant list all

Fair enough :)

Is that what the bottle says to do? I don't use it so don't know. You may be better dosing a smaller amount every other day to keep levels steadier.

* the tank is near the sunlught all day

There lies the problem. That much sunlight = algae. Full stop. If you can somehow black-out the tank sides that get the sunlight then this will really help. Black bin liners are perfect for this. If sunlight is hitting the front of the tank then you really need to try and move the tank or sort out some blinds. Reducing algae with loads of full sunlight may be impossible.

Yes sunlight sounds like the problem esp. if you are supplementing artificial light in the evenings.
The only planted tanks I've seen doing well in full sun have used sun alone. And that was in the tropics where seasonal day-length variation was minimal.
As has been suggested maybe make a cardboard box `blind' (not covering or near any lights!) for the tank when you are not home.
Also try getting some basic hornwort plant (cheap) from a garden centre to float in the tank and reduce that after a few weeks/months when your tank settles.

Very good question. I lost my instructions so i do it every 10 days.
