his pattening looks like a tiger oscars yet I've never seen one so yellow or is that just the photo
 
i'm not entirely sure what type of oscar he is all i know is i fell in love with him the moment i saw him. The pic turned out yellow but in actual fact the stripes are really kinda grey.
 
nope no name yet but i'm open to suggestions. i'm thinking maybe sabastian? but not sure. any opinions?????????????????????
 
he's not in a small tank. the pic is just taken up really close. the tank is a 55 gal and i have a 150 gal on layaway i'll have it in a few months when christmas presents come!!!!!!! i researched oscars for weeks before i comitted to buying him. i have apretty good idea about his needs but thanks for the concern

Wow, 55g all to his wittle self. So different from what I keep, but cute nevertheless. I don't post much here, but I thought I'd take a look. Pretty fish. It's obvious you've done some research. Enjoy you new guy. I like the name Sebastian. :)
 
he's actually not by himself. he has 3 jack dempseys and a rtbs. the jack dempseys are also very tiny compared to what you normally see in a fish store. my new lfs has a lot of very small babys of normally large fish but they require a ot of info when you buy larger breeds of fish. they require specifics of where they will be housed, water samples, food, etc.. so i feel i can provide a good home to my little sabastian.
