My mystery snail is getting attacked by my kribs!!

hiya, im not sure wot sort of snail u have, but depending on the type, and the size, they cud just think its going to eat their food, or just dnt like it being in the tank.

it mite be a gud idea to post a pic of the snail if u can.

Also, what sort of damage have they done to the snail ? their shells sud protect the actual snail fairly well, depending on how aggressive the kribs have been towards it.

I think it would be best to keep the snail in another tank. I don't believe your fish will stop harassing the snail. It has very attractive tentacles. Kribs can't resist.

Some fish eat snails as a regular diet, so maybe they're just trying to eat it. Although I wouldn't know if kribs are the kind of fish that eat snails.

Yup kribs will eat snails. I'm pretty sure most cichlids will. I looked through some other forums and found a few instances of snail-eating kribs.
