Hello, I am really excited my MMB's (Mozambican Mouth Brooders) fry has been released into tank. I was feeding when I saw a small amount come out so I went to tell my parents then when I got back there were about 5 shoals with atleast 20 fry in each one! It was amazing! I managed to get about 50 into my breeding net and the other 50+ are either hiding or they were eaten by my other fish as I know aloy where. Out of the 50 that I caught 8 have died but the rest are still alive and have eaten crushed flake. They just looking like compleatly white minature versions of their parents and I really hope I get a albino :D. Anyway I made a vid of it please tell me what you think! Fry

i like it :) my first cichlid fry expierience wasnt long ago , my jade eye/sajica crossbreeds are now about an inch long and i have only lost 2 i have about 100-200 fry and they are all very healthy, heres a method of feeding i developed on my own...
you get a big cichlid pellet, and you get something blunt, get a few pellets, soak a surface soak the pellets in tank water, and mash them into a paste, put it into your fry tank and they will love it!! its al lpowdery and fits into their mouths perfectly!! also i feed my large gar cockle, so i ripped off a small bit and put it in, the fry were ripping it all apart and loved it. just soem good advice , good luck with your fry :)

damn , theres tons of em in there, can you sell them for much ?

well done, its always nice when fish have fry , my angels just laid eggs , but the plec got em, :( :-(

sorry :( its cos angels arent overly aggressive with mine, the dad is a sajica, he bites my hand if i put it in the tank, hees a nasty piece of work, so he protected the eggs, maybe you could set up a small breeding tank ? or remove the pleco elswhere? send him on a vacation to your mates tank :)

As They are my own fry once they get to 1" I could probably sell them for £1 each (I think).

I recon that I have around 70 on closer inspection, but unfortunately 8 have died so...
