so i looked into my breeders box and there wer 4 molly fry last night, and as she had nothing for over 30 mins i decided t put her in the main tank again were i guess she had a few more, but anyway, im feeding them liuqidfry and was wandering if it is safe and when i can find ghem live food ( like daphnia ) ?

You can feed them baby brime strimp.

Forgot to mention congrats on the fry, watch water stats as that liuidfry stuff sooner messes the water up

iim off to buy a water testing kit soon, as i just made 7.50 by selling some stuff on a game i now have quit, and yes iy made the water in the little tank murky for a while, now its fine

Hello,

Be sure and read the new baby fish sub-FAQ! You'll probably find it useful. As Annastasia pointed out when I was writing it, the trick is to feed the baby fish frequently, at least 4 times per day, preferably 6. Of course, you don't want to overfeed and pollute the aquarium.

With mollies, the babies are pretty big, so you have a lot of flexibility when it comes to feeding. They should handle algae and finely ground flake from the get-go, and I can't imagine daphnia will pose a threat at all. After a week or two, invest in some frozen bloodworms -- they're an excellent food for conditioning and fattening up fish.

Cheers,

Neale
