My Molly Fry

i have just found my 3rd set of fry today that makes 14 fry and im wondering when i can release the 1st lot of fry i found 40-42 days ago. i put the biggest one into the tank but all the other fish kept chasing it so i caught it and put it back into the breeding net before somebody ate it. its around half an inch big and i think only one fish is big enough to eat the fry but im not sure and dont want them eaten

I release mine when they are 2cm long (3/4")

If i only have endlers or guppys in a tank alone, i dont even bother with a trap as you get well overun with fry anyways.

1/2" size should be able to look after themselves and be fast enough to avoid thier mouths

well there in with mollies swordtails danios and otos. one molly is massive and wouldnt stop chasing the little fry

The only really safe method, is to not return the fry to the tank until they're too big to be eaten by any fishes in the tank.
