hi i was wondering if my guppy would be half siamese fighter? hes a sppiting image apart from his fins arnt as long

Nope, they are completely different fish species and it is imposible to cross-breed them as because for a start, guppys are livebearers and bettas are egglayers; but it is far more likely your guppy is just a long tailed fancy one.
What other fish is he with?

Your stocking is good as long as the tanks bigger enough for them, but i'd rehome the sucking loach soon(more commanly known as chinese algae eaters) as they grow big and very terotorial as they mature :thumbs:

yeh ive heard some bad stories about them but i got the sucking loach with the tank and hes about 12cm all ready he dosnt mess with any other dfish yet in fact hes a bit scared of my male guppy my tanks 26inchs so i guess its about 20 gallons

Sucking loachs tend to attack at night rather than during the day so while they may be on their best behavior during the day time, they turn into little devils at night- i suggest you rehome him as soon as he starts showing any signs of agression as it'll only get worse and you may end up losing all your fish.
Here's pics of bettas and long tailed fancy guppys in some links just to help you make certain that yours is positivily a male long tailed fancy guppy :) ;

Sometimes my Guppies flare up too. Usually when they are trying to impress one another. :lol:

Do you have any pictures of his face? I'd love to see it! :nod:

no sorry i cant really take a pic of its face i only have cam fone so it blurs when i get too close got a digi cam on order so will be able to soon

i find that guppies, in general, have a very similar face as bettas...maybe that explains why my new metallic male plakat was trying to get the attention of my 2 female mosaic guppies when i was flip-flopping tank stock....i had my doubts to whether it was male or female, but now i am sure that he is a male...it took him nearly an hour to stop flaring after i moved them out of the tank (and they were only in there for 10 minutes!)

ps...i know guppies and bettas are a no-no, but this (was) a very tame betta that i thought was female, and didn't expect this behavior around rather dully colored female guppies
