Hello again.

I've noticed today that my (male) dwarf gourami is heading up to the surface, taking a gulp (it would appear) and then swimming around releasing bubbles. Am I right in thinking he in the mood for lurve with mrs. gourami? In all other aspects he appears fine and healthy.

Fascinating behaviour.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, when male gouramis blow bubble nests, it usually means that they are healthy and ready to breed. Are you planning on breeding gouramis? My friend does it, and I love to watch his progress.

Blimey.

I wasn't planning on breeding them, but If nature takes its course...

I think I'll do some reading up, just in case.

Nice to know that my fish feel healthy, though :) .
