Hmm never heard of any danios being fin nippers. I have never kept danios with anything with long fins though. I have however kept long finned zebra danios any they didnt nip each other at all.

What kind of danios are they?

how many of each type of fish do you have? danios can sometimes get bored and start harrasing other fish if they don't have enough of their own kind to play with. I have zebra danios and they don't nip any of my other fish but do chase my neons occasionally

well it said zebra danios on the tank they are the brown ones on this link

Lol. Danios will nip fins, especially if there are flowing fins or slow moving fish in the tank, or simply if there are not enough danios in the tank to keep themselves occupied. Guppies and Danios are both upper level swimmers so will be seeing a lot of each other.

what size is the tank and how many danios do you have?

Yeah...that might be a problem. :/ Arn't dainos supposed to be in large groups? I'd reccomend uping your numbers by 3 or 4. But I see that it is not possible as the tank cannot support it. Hmm, I wonder what we should do? :S

Danios are more likely to fin nip if either the group is small or the tank is small. Here it seems to be a case of both.

a 10gallon tank should be able to support another 3 Danios easily, so long as adequate filtration is in place.

There's no way to "stop" fish from nipping fins, as said Danios and guppies are both top to middle level swimmers, this means they will be running into eachother quite often. Increase the shoal of danios or remove them entirly, this is the only way to either get rid of the threat of nipped fins, or surpress it. Even if the danios are in a large enough shoal, they may still be fin nippers, just not as bad.
