My Lfs Sells Chemical Free Water

As per my title my lfs sells various water, one a highly filtered chemical free, which they actually add chemicals to when you buy it.

They say it is ideal for water changes etc. Does that mean you could buy it rather than putting in tap water (tap safe etc) and doing a fishless cycle.

Is it worth buying this water in general?

Not for a normal tank- look up Reverse Osmosis. Really, it's only nessecary if your tap water is appaling (eg, with nitrates of over 100 out of the tap) or you're keeping softwater species in a soft water tank (by diluting half RO with no added chemicals and half tap water).
