Well, I went to my LFS a few days ago and was really stunned when I saw they had Endlers in stock. They're not too common over here so it's nice to find somewhere with them.

My question is: I have a 2 gal that is occupied by a snail at the mo, it's taller and wider than most two gals. Could some male Endlers be happy in there? (I don't intend to breed). I would remove the snail. It has sand substrate and some driftwood with anubias nana, I could add some more plants if needed. My pH is 7.5.

I only would keep them there if I knew they would thrive...

Thanks in advance. :)

is it filtered?
i have 10 in an 8 gallon, and although tiny, they do rush around a lot, very active, they might find a 2 gallon a bit tiny.

generally i would say no, i use 3g as temp grow outs, but wouldnt recommend smaller as a permanent home.

Ok then, thanks anyway guys. :) My apple snail is happy in there anyway, would hate to move her.

Thanks again. :good:

Can you not put a couple in with the apple snail or am i being dumb?? Have no experience with apples at all

It is really messy, makes a lot of waste, they don't have very good digestion so most of their food just passes through. It'd make the tank too messy. :)

But I shall keep my snail in there now.
