My Khuli's Love Me

My Khuli loaches love me so much they show me their hearts.

Actaully I am glad she finally co-operated and let me get a decent photo of her showing off her love hearts for everyone to see.

I had been trying for a while to get a good picture of her hearts but she always did the bolt at the first sign of the camera, but last night her and a couple of her mates decided to stay put long enough for me to get the desired pics. They are lovely and I am very proud of them, I even have another 4 that will evetually be added to the group of 7 (? I loose track of how many there are because I can usually only find 4 unless I do a huge tank clean and rearrange then I discover their true numbers ), I keep hoping that somehwere along the lines I will end up with a couple of males, and then by some fluke I will manage to breed them.

After closely inspecting most of my striped khuli loaches I have come to the conclusion that I actually have at least 3 types, why can't pet shops put the proper names on things rather than lumping them all under the same banner? .

Still learning like everyone else, but yeah there are quite a few types of striped khuli loach (about 6) and about the only way of telling them apart is by their pattern (even with the differing patterns that will occur within the same type), The good thing is that they all pretty much have the same requirements in every other regard.
