hello everyone names dan.got a 10g for my 4yr old and kinda got my self Hooked should i say. i currently have an 18g after bout 2months since i outgrew the 10 overnight seems like. already need another since i have 2painted (poor things) tetras 2 kuhli loaches 6 small neoen 3 danios and 2 glowlight tetras 1 small cory..totaling a little over 18in currently and growing..see why i already need to get a bigger tank? anyway i like tanks for some reason and its kinda my new hobby..oh yeah i also have a heater and 1 aqua clear 100 and 1 aqua clear 200 to filter things out..

Welcome to the boards! I'm really a newbie, too, but just wanted to let you know that this is the best place I've found for getting advice and learning all about fish. The folks on here are super nice and helpful.

yah i noticed that right away. its astounding some of the things ive seen here and theres lots of good info. seems like ive been sittin here for days just reading posts. just changed my tank over to sand because of this place and scrapped my ugf also. its so bad i already got my friend changing his 55g tank over to sand and tossin the ugf also..cant wait to learn to grow some cool plants..simple stuff only these guys are incredibly talented. i wish..but just want to have a nice clear healthy tank..
